Riad el Solh

This site is dedicated to the memory of the late
President Riad el Solh,
father of Lebanese independence and founder of the modern, republican and independent Lebanon.

President Riad el Solh was the first president of its council of ministers.

President Riad el Solh desired above all that the modern Lebanon he founded in 1943 be a sovereign, proud, free and independent Lebanon.

This site, currently under construction, will be trilingual (French, English and Arabic). It will focus on President Riad el Solh's political, historical, moral, national and international work.

The site will be inaugurated on 22 November 2000, day of the fifty-seventh anniversary of independence for the Lebanese Republic, for which Riad el Solh sacrificed his life.
